Cash Offer or List Your House? It Depends on Your Situation.

Cash offer or list your house? That’s one of the most common questions I get from homeowners.

My answer is always the same…

It depends.

If your house is in great shape, you’re not in a rush, and you don’t mind getting it ready for showings, listing it on the market might be the best way to go.

But life doesn’t always happen under perfect circumstances.

Maybe the house needs a lot of repairs. Maybe you’re behind on payments, inherited a property you don’t want, or you’re just ready to move on without the headaches.

In those situations, a cash offer can make a lot of sense. You can usually sell the house as-is, avoid making repairs, and move on much faster.

The biggest thing I want homeowners to know is this: you have options.

As a local real estate broker and investor, I don’t believe in giving everyone the same answer. Every family and every home is different. Sometimes I’ll recommend listing your home because I truly believe it’s the best choice. Other times, a cash sale is the better fit.

My goal isn’t to convince you to do one or the other. My goal is to help you understand your options so you can make the decision that’s right for you.

If you’re thinking about selling and you’re not sure which path makes the most sense, give me a call. Even if we never work together, I’m happy to point you in the right direction.
